FOR THE BACK
-work same as front, but because Silk Garden is a somewhat thick-thin yarn, you may have to space corners a bit different to match the front, and you might need an extra round or one round less.

TO JOIN PIECES AND SEW IN ZIPPER
- place front and back with wrong sides together,
sl st along the edge to join, leaving about 1 inch
unstitched at the edges of the opening (for room to sew zipper)
- fold top edges down a bit to pin zipper into place,
sew zipper to inside of purse
- alternately, you can use a button and a crochet
chain for closure, or sew Velcro dots to the inside.

TO MAKE HANDLE
- ch 40, work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch across
- ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each across, end
- fold in half and sew to corner of purse
