this pattern calls for Noro Kureyon, but any worsted weight yarn will do! better if it is a yarn with lots of wool in it.

-work *2 hdc, 2 hdc in next sc* 3 times
-work *4 sc, 2 sc in next sc* 2 times
-5 hdc, 1 dc, 2 dc in next, 3 dc, 2 dc in next, 3 dc, 2 dc in next
-4 hdc, 2 hdc in next, 1 hdc, 6 sc
-2 hdc in next, 2 dc in next, 7 sc, 2 hdc in next, 2 dc in next

To make a larger change purse, continue as follows for one round:

NOTE: the edges will still curl a little bit, but once you sew both pieces together it wont curl.

FINISHING:
-weave in ends
-sew along edges (or sc along edges), leaving top open (straighter section)

-modify an old zipper (jeans zippers are great!) to the length of the opening and sew to the inside of the change purse 1/2" below the edge.
